About the Project
HDB Financial Services is one of the leading NBFC (Non-banking Financial Companies) in India providing financial offerings such as personal loans, two wheeler loan, gold loan, etc.
Digital Marketing Strategy Used
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) – Website Content optimization, Competitor analysis, Website load speed optimization, Content Marketing, Hyperlink Activation, Google My Business (GMB), and Backlink Generation.
The Major Challenges faced
HDB Financial Services is the sister company of HDFC bank; however, their brand awareness and website traffic
was below their set goals, also their GMB account containing over 1400+
branches had numerous issues that needed to be resolved.
The various challenges we faced were to optimize website for desktop and tablet, decrease website
page loading speed for desktop and tablet, increase website content, improve DA of our website,
increase Off-page submission activities and create a perfect content strategy.
With GMB the challenges we faced were to claim & verify the new branch addresses, add relevant geo coordinates
to the existing as well as new branch addresses, verify whether the address added is correct, help the client with
bulk verification process, coordinate with Team Google pertaining to our GMB account, deactivate duplicate
branch addresses, delete the addresses that have been closed or relocated to another place.

- The first thing we did was work on reducing HDB financial services Page load speed time due to which bounce rate was over 40%. We reduced HDB Financial services page loan speed time by deferring off-screen images, serving images in next-gen formats, reducing unused java scripts, etc.
- Later on, to tackle the problem of thin content in the website, we curated new content for HDB financial services website. The new content was created by implementing relevant keywords and distributing them evenly throughout our website content.
- Once On-page & Technical SEO was perfected by our team, we focused on off-page SEO activities along with our content marketing strategy.
- Over a period of 1-year, 150+ high quality articles will be submitted across websites, 120+ infographics will be submitted, 100+ quora articles will be posted and 8400+ off-page activities will be carried out by our SEO team.
- Our team verified the 1400+ branch addresses and confirm their location as well as geo coordinates i.e. latitude & longitudes. Post which, we ensured that HDB Financial Services’ main GMB account was ready for bulk verification. Further, we deleted the branch addresses from our GMB for branches which were either no longer in use or were relocated to a different place.
